WOW! How neat! I love how your nature finds are so different then ours, due to our different locations...we are in the midst of leaves, catapillars hunkering down, and cold winds blowing in and through everything!
ReplyDeleteOur learning is going good but slow...did you see that Librivox as This Country of Ours up to Chapter 63 available to listen too? That's exciting to me! :-)
This may be a long shot. I came across your blog bc of a post on a SCM forum about HUFI curriculum years ago. I am in a very similar situation that you were in, where I like the scope/sequence of HUFI, but think doing school together may be better. I have four daughters (9, 8, 6, 3). I realize yours are all grown up now, but how did it turn out? What did you do? Did they graduate using a CM curriculum? Any advice you would give? My name is Logan & you can email me at lemf87@gmail.com...if you see this! haha!
ReplyDeleteps- I love the idea of scheduling hair brushing.. that's a great tip I've gained from your blog. Also, doing the riches during tea time just after lunch! wonderful idea!
